Spring First Aid Training for Farm Workers

Two hour classroom session covering:

  • Tricks to calving cows—identification of limbs and delivery through a fake pelvisBirthing calf
  • How to treat down cows and milk fever
  • Sick cows—diagnosis and treatment
  • Sick calves—diagnosis and treatment

Two hour hands-on practical session on farm covering:

  • Needle practice
  • Useful tips and tricks e.g. Calculating withhold periods, what drug to use, working out doses, taking a milk sample, etc.

Lunch and extensive notes provided

Cost: $100 per person, or $90pp for 2 or more. Numbers strictly limited.
