The government announced this afternoon that the rest of the country outside of the Auckland borders will be dropping to Alert Level 2. This will mean our clinics in the South and East will now be able to operate under Level 2 conditions. There are some key points to be aware of though that differ from previous level 2s.
- Mask Wearing – this continues to be a mandatory requirement for everyone while in the clinics under Level 2.
- Scanning/Signing In – we need all our clients that enter the clinic to scan in. If you don’t have a phone that can scan, please sign our contact tracing register at the door.
- Physical Distancing at Alert Level 2 – this will be the biggest change to previous Alert Level 2s as we are being asked to maintain 2m physical distancing while inside retail spaces. You may be able to access the clinic at Level 2, but the requirement for physical distancing will limit the number of clients able to be inside at any one time so it is best to call the clinic on arrival and get instructions from the team.
- We only have room for one person to attend a consult.
Stay safe out there,
The team at Franklin Vets
