Sarah spent time working as a Vet in both Australia and the United Kingdom before finally settling back in New Zealand with her family. Sarah joined the Franklin Vets team in 2012 at the Beachlands clinic and has a passion for all areas of companion animal medicine. She offers acupuncture as a treatment option for many conditions including arthritis, muscle and back pain.

She is also the proud parent of an energetic cat called Dusty and a Mini Lop rabbit called Biscuit.

Sujata joined the Franklin Vets Beachlands team in April 2021. Sujata qualified as a vet in Bombay, India and worked as a large animal vet in India. She later immigrated to NZ and has been working in small animal practices around Auckland since 2001. Sujata enjoys all aspects of small animal practice and has a special interest in ophthalmology.

After work hours, her interests are many and varied. She enjoys tramping with her husband (and sometimes her 2 boys!). Her other pastimes include reading, watercolour and oil painting, and needle and craftwork. She also enjoys travelling.

After graduating from Massey University, Morwenna spent 3 years in mixed rural practice in South Waikato. She then moved to the UK, initially as a locum vet and then as a practice owner for almost a decade.

Morwenna moved back to New Zealand in 2016 with her family, joining the Beachlands practice part-time in 2018. She enjoys all areas of companion animal veterinary care, with a particular soft spot for cats.

Adrienne is a local, having lived in Beachlands for a number of years before making the move to Whitford for the all-consuming ‘lifestyle’ block. Her family breed Lowline cattle, which they hope to show at a local level. Her family is involved in the Whitford Community and they support a lot of local initiatives.

Adrienne is a qualified Veterinary Nurse, having worked for a decade at a local Veterinary Clinic, before taking up a role at as Receptionist for a large Pet Food Manufacturer, learning about pets nutritional requirements. Adrienne is excited to be working as the Customer Services Team Leader at Franklin Vets Beachlands, within her local community & continuing to work with animals, which she is passionate about.

Jenny graduated from Massey University and started her career in mixed practice in Pukekohe. In 2004 she did her OE in England where she worked with horses and cattle.

Jenny joined the Franklin Vets team 10 years’ ago and has worked part-time ever since. She is currently enjoying lifestyle work based in Papakura.

Outside of work and being a full-time Mum, she is passionate about horse riding and hunting.

Blair graduated from Massey University in 2019 and headed back home to sunny Auckland to join the team at Papakura as a mixed lifestyle/small animal veterinarian. He’s excited to work with a wide variety of animals and clientele, providing the best quality veterinary care to patients in clinic or the back yard.

In his spare time, you’ll find Blair hiking around DOC land, cooking up a feast for friends and family and enjoying the beauty of the local Auckland beaches.

Sarah trained at Massey University, graduating in 2017. She works predominantly with our lifestyle block clients, and can also be found in the Papakura Clinic one day a week. Sarah loves working for a BESTPRACTICE approved clinic and enjoys working closely with clients to keep their animals as happy and healthy.

Prior to her veterinary degree, she completed a degree in animal behaviour and worked as a dog trainer before heading overseas. Her travels saw her offering medical care to elephants in Thailand, studying wolf behaviour in the Rockies, training horses in Ohio and caring for the many rescued cats and dogs from the Bangkok floods. Her veterinary degree has since taken her to work in aid programs across the Myanmar countryside and work with wildlife and stray populations in South Africa.
