Dr David Hawkins BVSc

Many will know David from his time in the North of the Franklin Vets Practice. He has moved to Hamilton and is now based out of our Taupiri clinic. David’s primary role is as a consultant supporting farmers with farm systems, nutrition, mastitis and animal health advice. He has a strong interest in the role wearables play in moving farm systems forward under the umbrella of Amplify, our wearables-focused brand. You will still see David helping with day-to-day clinical work, supporting the clinical team during the week and after hours. Nationally, David is involved with the Advanced Mastitis Course as a tutor and sits on the National Mastitis Advisory Committee.
