Dr Sophie Dunn BVSc MVM(Dist) MANZCVS (Small Animal Surgery)

After graduating from Massey in 2015, Sophie moved to the Waikato, where she initially worked as a mixed animal vet before realising her passion was in small animal surgery. She completed her Master's in Veterinary Medicine and became a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS) in Small Animal Surgery in 2021.

Sophie joined the Franklin Vets team in 2026 and is looking forward to meeting pets and their owners at the Waihi, Kopu, and Te Kauwhata clinics.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys powerlifting, making pottery and distilling her own gin.
