Dr Steph Reid BVSc BSc (Hons)

Steph started with Franklin Vets in 2022 as a mixed vet working out of our Kopu Clinic. While she enjoys the variety of mixed practice and working with animals both large and small, she has recently moved over to the South region with a primary focus on Sheep & Beef and Working Dogs. Her background in genetics (University of Otago) gives her a solid foundation in parasite management and on farm breeding decisions. 

Steph lives on her parents’ drystock farm with her husband Fraser and enjoys (for the most part!) coming home to the challenges of farming. Her remaining free time is spent either riding her horses or, in the colder months, playing netball.

Steph is looking forward to meeting our farmers and working with them to achieve their goals.
